1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:
Theabetic kidney disease and impotence drug cialis (tadalafil) have been shown to enhance blood pressure by reducing the production of a chemical that stimulates the pituitary gland, a small gland in the brain that regulates testosterone levels. This interaction may alter the effectiveness of the medications.
Cialis (tadalafil) is a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitor, which works by increasing blood flow to the penis. When taken with PDE5 inhibitors, Cialis can cause an upset stomach, resulting in symptoms like bloating, nausea, and vomiting. This may cause fainting or dizziness.

Whether you can take Tadalafil at the same time as your other medications will depend on which medications you are taking.
You are required to complete a short medical consultation questionnaire that asks for any medications that you are prescribed from your GP and will indicate the medications that can’t be taken alongside Tadalafil.
There are several medicines which should not be taken concurrently with Tadalafil. Medicines which can have potentially serious interactions with Tadalafil include :-
• Any alpha-blocker medicines e.g. doxazosin (Cardura), alfuzosin (Xatral), tamsulosin, terazosin, or Flomax, that you can buy in the pharmacy. (These medicines may be used to treat prostate problems or high blood pressure).
• Isosorbide mononitrate, isosorbide dinitrate, or use a GTN spray or tablets
for chest pain or use Rectogesic ointment?
• Nicorandil (Ikorel), used to treat angina
• Cimetidine, used to treat stomach or duodenal (peptic) ulcers
• Theophylline, used to treat asthma
• Antibiotics:- Clarithromycin, Erythromycin and Telithromycin
• Anti-fungals such as itraconazole and ketoconazole
• Seizure medication:- carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin and primidone
• Heart or blood pressure medication:- disopyramide, amiodarone, quinidine and procainamide
• Anti-viral medication:- telaprevir, atazanavir, retonavir, indinavir, saquinavir and cobicistat
• Recreational drugs:- amyl nitrate (poppers)
If you are taking any prescribed medication from your GP then you can simply write those in the “Is there any other medical information that you think our doctor should know?” section on the medical questionnaire. Then, our doctor will know whether the Tadalafil is safe for you to take.

High blood pressure is a common condition that can put a strain on your heart, so it’s important to monitor your heart function while you are taking Tadalafil. Tadalafil, also known by the brand name Cialis or PDE5i, is a medication that increases blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscle at the heart pressure base.
This increases blood flow causing you to become more sensitive to your bodily functions, including blood flow.
However, Cialis usually doesn’t cause this problem as it does not contain as much blood-flow as before. instead, it works by relaxing the muscles at the heart pressure base, allowing blood to flow more readily.
It’s important to note that Tadalafil may not be suitable for everyone. It’s essential to discuss any health conditions with your doctor before starting any new medication.
If you take more Tadalafil you may experience this.
While we have a general medical information, not every high blood pressure medication contains the exact ingredient that’s contained in Tadalafil. For that, we will want to know your GP about your other medications.
Certain medications can have effects which areOn the subject of medications can can be risky, however not in Tadalafil. Not everyone who takes Tadalafil is suitable for Tadalafil. If you are considering taking Tadalafil then head on the medical questionnaire and see your GP before taking it.
It can be helpful to know how you can improve your risk of this side effect if you take any of the Tadalafil tabletstitiales with this medication.
Background:The aim of the current study was to explore the effects of doxycycline on Cmax and GFR of C6-methyl-tetrahydrofolate (MDT-36) on different models of renal injury in normal rats.
Methods:The results of the pharmacokinetic studies were compared with the results of the animal experiments. Cmax, GFR, creatinine clearance (CLC) and half-life of drug were determined using microdialysis and a rat model of renal injury. Results:Both the Doxycycline and the Doxycycline + tadalafil dose was found to be dose- and dose-dependent for the Cmax, GFR and CLC, respectively, and all the variables did not have a significant effect on them. The results of the Doxycycline dose-related and the Doxycycline+ tadalafil dose-related models were in the same order as the corresponding animal experiments. At the same time, the effects of tadalafil and doxycycline on the GFR and CLC were similar. Conclusions:The results of this study were consistent with the results of the animal experiments.Author(s):S.
